Today sees the publication of When Saturday Comes' Half Decent Football Book, a reference volume with a difference - that is, it's not just informative, but witty and entertaining too. Being listed as one of the book's "principal contributors", I'm naturally a little biased, but I've just received my complementary copy and can unreservedly confirm that it's the best UK football reference book ever published. Really.
Sometimes I forget how the States can be after being gone for a while. Then I read comments like this one on your column: That was so funny, I loved how you made light of the brutal murders of innocent babies. and I remember.
